District Mission Statement
Stamford ISD will develop a positive staff culture that is intent on creating
an atmosphere based on student centered authentic learning with a global perspective.

Breaking News

On Monday, March 30, the Texas Department of Agriculture notified school districts that weekend meals would no longer be reimbursable during at-home learning as of March 29, 2020.  Although this announcement is very disappointing, we are encouraged and delighted to announce that the Stamford Ministerial Alliance has committed to providing weekend lunches to children 18 and under on Saturday and Sunday for the next five weekends.  Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the south parking lot at Oliver Elementary.  As with current procedures during the week, we ask that you remain in the car and the food will be handed to you.  I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the churches of Stamford who have stepped up to fill the gap of needs with our children.  Together we are better!

As many of you are aware, Governor Abbott issued an executive order this afternoon, March 31, that includes keeping school buildings closed until May 4, 2020.  Stamford ISD will continue with at-home learning during this time.  We appreciate the tremendous amount of support our staff has received as we strive to provide excellent instructional support for your children.
